The aroma of Lemony Lemongrass is a vibrant herbaceous, citrus lemon scent. It stems from a blend of genuine essential oils that includes organic lemongrass and organic palmarosa. Both lemongrass and palmarosa are grasses that are steam distilled. Lemongrass is noted as being a general skin tonic, great for cleansing, with astringent properties. Palmarosa is a balancing oil. This bar is good for normal to oily skin.
The color of this bar soap is light yellow. This color is a result of the combination of the base oils used combined with the essential oil blend.
These bars are created using organic natural shea butter which is known to be gentle, soothing, softening, and nourishing to all types of skin. Organic virgin olive oil is noted as being a good moisturizer, holding the moisture close to the skin without blocking the natural function of the skin and being very gentle. This soap also contains sustainable organic palm fruit oil combined with organic virgin coconut oil creating its fluffy lather, a nice bar of soap.
This soap is handmade, in a small batch, using the cold process soap making method. These soaps are hand cut. These bars weigh between 3-4 oz. for the standard bar .
• Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is from the first pressing of the olive and is left in its natural unrefined state. It is commonly known to be the highest quality olive oil available.
• Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is a sustainable product. It is excellent as a skin moisturizer and softener. It is a preferred oil in high-quality, cold process soap-making and it helps create bubbles making it an excellent cleanser.
• Organic Palm Fruit Oil that we use is certified sustainable by Friend of the Earth.
• Organic High Oleic Sunflower Oil is a wonderful skin conditioner and is highly nourishing to the skin.
• Organic Shea Butter is known for its moisturizing and emollient properties. Rich in vitamins and fatty acids, it penetrates deeply into the epidermis and leaves a smooth, satiny finish.
